Matthew Dehaemers Leaves a Mark

Confluence of Time and Place Casper, Wyoming has a new public art piece that was recently installed. Constructed of steel, marble, glass, and concrete, Confluence of Time and Place is a large-scale sundial that is prominently displayed during the day and lit up by LED lights at night.The project was in funded by a number of collaborative groups including the Nicolaysen Art Museum, Grimshaw Investments, the Wyoming Housing Authority, the McMurry Foundation and a "Place Making" Grant by the National Endowment for the Arts and others.Not only is this piece aesthetically pleasing, it also is functional.
