Studios Inc announces the two artists accepted into its Residency Program in 2022: Harold Smith and Hong Chun Zhang

Artist Emily Sall will continue at Studios Inc for an additional two years by participating in the Extension Program. Extension Program residents are responsible for fundraising to underwrite cost of the studio space.

Studios Inc welcomes Peregrine Honig into its Residency Program. Honig recently celebrated the 21st year of the West 18th St. Fashion and currently has a solo exhibition on view at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum in St.Joseph.

Studios Inc intern, Sydney Smith, writes about Susan White’s solo exhibition The Untangling. The exhibition opens Friday, January 22nd from 6-8pm and will be on view thru March 6th, 2021.

In recent dialogue around Artist Jaimie Warren’s entire body of work, it’s been brought to our attention that a deep concern arose regarding her representation of people of color in some of her work. This dialogue sparked conversation about a piece of Jaimie’s art, titled “Self-portrait as women in Les Demoiselles d’Avignon”…
